I do not get paid for endorsements, nor do I make any money off of the links provided. These are simply companies whose products I currently support for their quality.

I currently buy my dates, date paste, and UnRefined date powder from Kartago Dates in New Jersey. They have both conventional and organic, though I opt for the organic. There are also refined items such as date syrup, but I don’t personally use or recommend anything that is refined. If you remove the dietary fiber then there is nothing to feed the gut, or to slow down the digestive process and help prevent insulin spikes.  Kartago sells both retail and wholesale. You can shop their website here.

Food to Live is another company I buy from. I currently get my cacao paste from them, as well as sesame seeds and coconut. Again, I buy their organic products. I generally buy in bulk from their website.

I had been buying my grain regularly from one grower, but the quality had dropped off and it was continually coming in infested with either millers or weevils, meaning it wasn’t very fresh. You should know to refrigerate your grains in an airtight container since all grains will have some eggs on them from the fields to prevent hatching. After having repeated issues I decided to find another grower and tried Grand Teton Ancient Grains. I bought their organic white wheat berries and I must say that the quality of flour produced with them and the flavor are far above any other I have tried. I am very impressed with Ancient Grains and will continue to support them as long as they maintain the quality.
